desperanceI got BoingBoinged. Well, not so much me as m'friend Tony's StarShipSofa site, where all the BSFA-shortlisted stories are now up as podcasts. But I got my actual name mentioned, and hence read by probably more people than have ever heard of me before. Which is cool.
In other news, Barry spent pretty much all this evening sitting on me; now that I have decamped to the office (where he doesn't find my lap congenial, or perhaps it's the being-typed-over he doesn't like), he is sitting at my feet. Which he has never done before. What has that boy been doing to him, while I was gone...?
