Apparently this is World Fantasy Award-nominating season. People line up their own stories for a beauty parade. Who knew? Not I. But hey: if you have a vote, then "The House of Mechanical Pain" would be the story I'm most proud of, from last year. Ellen Datlow picked it for YBFH, too, so it ain't just me...

I am not eligible to vote, but I'm glad you linked to that again. I love that story. Gives me the chills every time.
