Why, I wonder, would the pins and needles in my left arm be conspicuously worse after a hot bath? *is baffled*

Also, "television is called a medium because what it shows is generally neither rare nor well done." Discuss. Something has happened, either to the scheduling or else in my head. I used to watch hours every night. Then I watched fewer hours. Now I struggle to find something to watch over supper.

And yet, for some weird reason I'm really chary about playing DVDs. I have lots now - most of which I bought myself, which would tend to suggest that I'm interested in their content - but I very seldom play one. No idea why that should be. *is baffled again*

Because even though heat helps with relaxing muscles, it also can inflame them? and inflamed muscles can press on nerves? IANAD, but I remember my physio telling me that when I had an upper-back injury that affected my arm down to my wrist.

Hope it feels better soon!

If you have carpal tunnel horribleness, it's because your blood vessels expanded in the heat, and oodled up your carpal tunnels. This is a scientific explanation.

I have much the same problem with DVDs. I have piles of them (literally -- the single pile grew unstable) sitting waiting to be watched. I have a DVD of Lost Season 1 (when it was still good) in the DVD player, and I'm watching it at the rate of one episode a month, if that.

Does the word 'soma' mean anything? You're just suffering withdrawal symptoms, that's all. You'll be fine when the poison is out of your system.

The disinclination to watch dvds grows proportionately with the number of un-watched dvds in the pile. You've seen out unwatched pile.
There could be regular tests, however...
