desperanceSo I was lying in bed this morning, lamenting how awful everything was; and Mac was sitting on my chest washing his face, rather smugly I thought, knowing full well that I would have to be doing the same thing in cold water when I finally got up...
And then he stuck his claw in his eye.
And yes, of course I was worried; and no, of course I shouldn't have laughed at the way he went all squinty and tentative as he pawed at it. But. I do apparently have a mean button, a serves you right for smugging at me, on me button.
Oh, and he's fine now. Wide-eyed with wonder at my bag of veggies, wondering what he should steal first, and might he perhaps like cauliflower...?
