Joy in the morning
Jun. 29th, 2009 10:47 amI suppose few people would actually relish the sight of water rushing out of a cupboard. Not me, certainly.
The waste pipe from the kitchen sink has come loose. It's ... unfortunate, as it is by a long way the busiest waste pipe in the house. How many times a day do I run water into - and necessarily out of - the kitchen sink? I don't know, but "lots" will suffice.
If I were a handier man, no doubt I could refix it, seal it, replace it if necessary. All of that. As it is - well, I have kind of wedged it back in place, and will see how long I can live with the dripping consequences before I call in the plumber.
"Chaz! There's water! On our floor!!"
I know, boys, I know. Live with it. Paddle.
