You are all magnificently helpful, and I am sooo glad that several of you said "snakes!", because that was what I had in fact written, just in hopes.

Now, then, as a follow-up: when swimming tigers come out of the water, do they shake themselves like dogs? (And no, I am not going to dunk the boys as an experiment. They would not like that, no.)
