Seriously, this is getting bonkers. This lot wasn't even forecast, not for us. There I was, innocently in the pub (why no, no one is ever guilty in the pub, didn't you know? Pubs are manufacturers of innocence) and we came out into softly falling flakes. Which reminded me bizarrely of my childhood reading, where I couldn't count the number of times innocent children came out of church at Christmas into softly falling flakes.
If they keep falling at this rate, we'll have another half a foot by morning.
I'm starting to wonder if it'll still be coming down for Xmas, I really am.
