Late lunch

desperanceOh lor', it's two o'clock again already. No wonder I'm hungry. How did that happen? I quit work early, deliberately, not to be so late at eating...
Actually, I do know pretty much how it happened. We have Thaw, which slows everything down, very much including the walking-home thing (Thaw is grudging & reluctant, and grimy with it; but I do like how the heaped snow melts from beneath, leaving fungus-caps of ice spread over lacework and nothing.) Also, I have committed Retail on my way home. Nothing unusual in that, only there was a lot of it today. Much as I love buying new stuff, I kinda resent having to spend a hundred quid to replace broken old stuff. Two weeks before the sales, that too. But it did have to be.
Enough of this. Foods. Chorizo-stuffed mushrooms and piperade a la Chaz (it has chillies in it, since you ask).
I shoulda put the mushrooms in the oven before I came upstairs, before I fell to doing this. Lunch will be later yet. That's your fault. *blames you*
