Disappointed cat is disappointed

desperanceI have been out in the back yard, yarding*. It has always been the rule that when I am out in the back yard, yarding, the boys may come too, so long as they give their parole and don't try to escape over the wall.
This rule has not crossed the Atlantic with us. The boys have just learned this lamentable fact. Mac is ... most disappointed. Most. He is consequently misbehaving, while Karen is engaged in an all-day training session by laptop and speakerphone (on account of being broken) and I am planting plants and seeds and feeding trees and so forth.
Poor Baz was sleepsome, until Mac started misbehaving all over him.
My Linux-fu continues to be as broken as my intended, or more so. We took Karen to the chiro to get mended, this lunchtime. Sadly, there is no mender for my Linux-fu. If I could get online, I could maybe find the right combination of drivers and libraries &c to fix my barely-functional installation. If I could get online, I could maybe fix my inability to get online. Le sigh...
