A Global catastrophe
Mar. 26th, 2013 07:39 amJust to cap a wonderful week*, one of my fancy Global knives clove in twain last night: just sheared between the handle and the blade. I am distressed. And moments later something in my back went sproing! in the most painful way imaginable. I may be stressed and also distressed.
So just now, every moment is a new discovery. I have survived sleeping, includingrolling turning inching over; I have survived the shower. Any moment now we'll find out if I can survive the bicycle.
*I speak ironically. My irony is drawn from life.

If you were in a sporting (as in, "how well can I play this") frame of mind, at the very least Global should replace that knife and at best they should replace it with several knives.
Back: heating pad or ice, depending. Heating pad much more pleasant, of course. You must have jerked back with shock at seeing a knife so sharp it cut itself in two.
