Welcome to Bewilderment, CA
Sep. 3rd, 2014 04:43 pmYou would not think - oh, wait. Maybe you would. Maybe it's your regular everyday thought. Who am I, to say what you would think? Sufficient then to say that I would not think that a three-litre saucepan could so thoroughly disappear, within the bounds of a relatively small and searchable kitchen.
Nevertheless. Favourite saucepan, where aaaare you?
Also, I have burned the inside of my left arm and elbow. Rather seriously, to judge by the discomfort and the empinkening thereof. I have no memory, no consciousness of having done this. Whatsoever. And how do you burn the inside of your elbow, anyway...?*
In rather better news, dosakai are pretty. I went into the Indian grocery store and there they were and I didn't know what they were and I picked one up with the rest of my shopping and I was going to ask, but the guy behind the till was surly and unusually silent so I came over all English and fled the scene unsatisfied. But the internet knows all. I am making dosakai pattu.
*EtA: my current money is on steam. For lo, I am cooking, and there are many pans at work. But how could I not notice? Steam is hot...
