I would just like to point out that I answered all these questions honestly, and the only one I didn't check was "You drive a German car", because in fact I drive no car at all...

You Are 95% British

Are you British? Hell, you're more of a Brit than the Queen is!

You're truly the dog's bollocks... and you know that's not an insult.

So what if you're a slobbering drunk obsessed with football?

At least you always remember your manners.

I am 25% British. That seems about, let me count. Ah yes. 25% too much. :)

Well, that's the first 5% on the 'How Irish am I?' quiz sorted.

Me, too. I love iced tea, especially fruit-flavored kinds, and could care less about either kind of football, don't drink beer... I guess I have nice manners.

If I wrote a test to distinguish Englishness from Americanism, it would have to include whether you say "I could care less" or "I couldn't care less". It's one of those examples where the exact opposite is taken to mean exactly the same thing - but I have never understood the American version. "I couldn't care less" says what I mean, that this subject is at the bottom of my interests, nothing matters to me less than this. "I could care less" - doesn't say that. It doesn't define at all how much you do or don't care, only that you do care to some degree. I trip over this every time...

Got me there! Hmmm... I think I usually use the proper expression (the negative) except when I slip into Accent Casual. Lord Peter Wimsey using "ain't" comes to mind, but that's a different sort of affectation.
