One-nil to the Barsenal

Evil entities that Barry has attempted to exterminate today:

Flying insects (numerous, indoors and out)
Birdies (numerous, outdoors and way, way out of reach)
Long black flicking tails (one, his own)
Chazzes (one, his own - in portions, one limb at a time)

His total confirmed kills to date:

Fly, one, trapped against the window and the evidence promptly swallowed.

His total confirmed damages to date:

Chaz, one, observed bleeding from several wounds unlikely to prove fatal.

He would also like to claim his tail as a capture, but I just point behind him and there the wicked thing is again, waving free. What's a cat to do, but chase after it again...?

Whoo, yeah. With all the spitting and the shaking the head and everything. I laughed, so he bit me to take the taste away.

Thus, proof - if proof were needed - that a Chaz is tastier than a fly. (Unless he did the spit and shake again and went searching for another fly...)

Yup. All it proves is that a young cat's hopes spring eternal. He bites one thing, he doesn't like it, he goes to bite something else. He doesn't learn...
