A window on the world
Sep. 28th, 2010 09:27 pmWow.
We were just standing at this big plate window, watching moths flutter against the glass - when here came a bat, sudden and ferocious, to snatch the thing away. Right there, all teeth and leather wings. It was ... extraordinary.
And it happened again, and again, and...
Kari has drawn the curtains now, to give the moths a chance.
Also, we have been feeding a local cat and spotting many others, both here and in Marseille, in a museum garden. Cats all over. Cats and bats.
