Two days to go

I've been writing up a storm: eight pages Thursday, ten yesterday, three so far this morning. The story's way too long already to be read aloud, and until this morning nothing spooky had happened and I had no idea where it was going. Today's good news is that I have (a) found the ghost, and (b) found an ending of sorts; the abiding doubts are (a) whether I can get there, and (b) whether I'll have time enough after to slash it back to a viable length for reading. I would be fine with both, except that bad people (m'friends Harry & Louise) are coming to take me away this afternoon, and I don't know what time tomorrow they'll bring me back. Probably neither do they.

In other news, chillies can fix your diabetes, maybe. Yay chillies! I always said they were good for you...

Tragically, they're just using the capsaicin. And injecting it, too, which seems such a waste...
