And later today we have unnaming of cats
Sep. 2nd, 2013 04:57 pmHah. His name is not at all Shady, no it isn't. For we went to talk to our nice neighbour Bill, mostly about replacing the fence between his yard and ours, because it billows like a sail in the wind; and I asked, and indeed: our cat is his cat, and he is called Leo. And he is a veteran of eleven years, and also of tantalising indoor cats; until recently he has mostly been hanging out at the neighbours' of Bill's other side, in order to torment their four precious bundles of fur. Now he is mostly hanging out at ours, to tease our two. All cats are evil in some way, I find: even snugglebunnies. It's in the job description.
Bill also has a dog, who is a big fat bouncy yellow Lab who is called Chispa (which is Spanish for Sparky, apparently) and gets out on the street every now and then and has to be returned; and we will be three days with no fence between Bill's yard and our own, so we predict invasions. Mac is going to be soooo outraged...
