You know that phrase, caption, whatever, that started in gaming and went "Im in ur base doin unspeakable things to ur soldiery" (or whatever), and has since taken over the memetic world in many alternate versions? Not infrequently attached to pictures of cats doing cute and inappropriate things?

Well, a teacher friend of mine has just been given a mug by one of his pupils. And okay, it has a cute picture of a kitten, sitting on an old-fashioned schooldesk; but it says "Im in ur classroom, eatin ur brainz." Which is just about perfect, really.

Shagged out after a long squawk

I was, as usual, more wound-up over the Phantoms gigs than I'd realised. And paying for it now: I keep falling asleep on the sofa, and there is just no way I'm going to do any of the things I need to do this evening.

Instead, I shall make supper - what you lovely Americans would call mac and cheese, I think, tho' it will actually be candele (which obviously means candles, but in pasta terms is big fat tubes the length of long spaghetti, hurrah! - traditionally eaten with ragu, but hey...) and there will be mushrooms and ham in the sauce as well as lots of good cheddar. And mustard. And then I will vegetate in front of the TV, for lo, I can do no other.
