Seriously, I really wish I had two men's appetites, and time for twice the meals. I can't eat enough to keep up with my own cooking.

I had Helen round mid-week, and made curry. Curries. I am still eating leftover curries. Meanwhile, the cauliflower that I had planned to make a cauliflower-and-mac cheese with is still sitting, waiting; but I had to go to the supermarket today, and there was all this oxtail going cheap, and I do love to cook oxtail...

So there is oxtail in the oven, very slowly stewing with onions and carrots and fennel and juniper berries and rosemary and thyme and bay and red wine, and I shall have somehow to eat that in the next few days. With buttered cabbage, I think, and celeriac-and-potato mash. But I have a new wok, and I really wanted to be using that; and...

You see my dilemma. What is a man to do...?

I agree with [livejournal.com profile] timill. We got an extra freezer to hold the delicious things we couldn't help making but couldn't quite eat up.
